w/mo sword troll farming build
Im sure there's one of these flaotin around but i havent seen it so i decided to post mine. This build is slower than the axe builds but i prefer this for power lvling.
w/mo
Attributes:
healing prayers:8
strength:5(4+1)
swordsmanship:12(11+1)
tactics:12(8+4)
Other runes:
superior absorption(major works)
major vigor
Armor:
basically anything works but i suggest some gladiators peices.
Skills:{elite} tactics "gladiators defense"
tactics "bonettis defense"
tactics "defensive stance"
strength "sprint"
swordmanship "galrath slash"
protection prayers "rebirth"(not needed if soloing, replacement isnt needed even then
healing prayers "life vicariously"
healing prayers "vigorous spirit"
Execution: leave Droks through the northern exit and head north-west till you reach a cave. On the way there you sill most likely encounter some avicara, simply srint by them and continue.
When you get to the cave use life vicariously and run to the back of the cave and get ALL the trolls EXCEPT the boss groups. Use gladiators defense then throw up vigorous spirit, then hack away at a troll till u glads runs out, then use bonettis defense which should be charged. Hack away again till u can use bonnettis, use it. Repeat until gladiators defense is ready. Then repeat.
Use galrath slash ONLY while you have gladiators defense up, and even then be careful, you may not be ready for bonnettis.
Use defensive stance when you have adrenaline problems, or something bad happens.
I welcome criticism and advice, but please do not hassle me if there is another sword build out there. I assure you this is all original so please dont say i copied this from anyone.
There you have it, have fun and good killin .

I will start out with a simple question - Why use sword when you can use axe? With cyclone axe, you can kill the trolls faster and need less healing. But if for some reason you don't have an axe to use, sure, this sword build would work.
However, I highly recommend bumping tactics up to 16 on this build and reducing sword down to a lower number. The bulk of the damage you do is with gladiator's defense, while the only real purpose of the sword is to heal yourself and do a little bit of extra damage to a single troll.

Couldn't you add riposte and deadly riposte to do even more damage? Also, I haven't played my warrior in a long time but wouldn't those skills also give you your healing bonus since it blocks an attack then hits them back?

3 words dude - Riposte, Deadly Riposte. Without those skills 99.9999999999% of troll farming axe builds will easily out damage a sword build.
Btw, if you want a good axe build, use mine
Attributes
Strength- 4
Axe-11
Tactics- As high as possible, preferably 16
Healing Prayers- 9
Skills
Cyclone Axe
Penetrating Chop
Executioners Strike
Gladiators Defence
Bonnetis Defence
Vigorous Spirit
Live Vicariously (or whatever it's called)
Mending
Note that this build has most likely been posted before and I claim no credit for it.

i even said axe builds are faster, but not everyone is able to switch back and forth. I do like the idea of the 16 tactics though
No riposte would not heal you because life vic. and vigorous spirit only heal when you hit or cast a spell. They would also only be able to be used while glads is up or you would cancel bonnettis and defensive stance. It could be dangerous using riposte during glads because there are no multiple hit skills in the build and you may be strained on adrenaline, deadly riposte could be used but, again, there wouldnt be much time to use it.
I know axe warriors would out damage this. I even said an axe build would be faster. This build is for those that dont like axe or cant switch. Also this build is mainly for power lvling beacuse with rebirth, you can rez the person youre lvling if they die.
I fully understand axe builds would be faster, I even use one my self, but ive covered why this build has been posted.
Thx for the posts though.

They were never really farmed for drops anyway, only for fast Experience so you could get skill points more easily.

well i actually correct myself. Its not worthless makin money off drops totally. Take mountain troll tusks to the collector north of rankor and you can amke some good cash, when i found out about this i stopped farming for a while and just bought tusks then took them to the collector and sold the items. Made some good cash like this.

well i made a blessed griffon farming build a while ago thats interesting and an ok challenge. It for sword and here it is:
Skills:
sever artery
gash
{e} hundred blades
riposte
deadly riposte
healing signet
watch yourself
dolyak signet
Attributes:
str:9
swordsmanship:12
tactics:14
This is good profit and very fun. You can kill griffons, azures, heretics, and 3 bosses with this build. Go out of north rankor exit and make your north, then turn souh, and then west. This builds quite easy just pay close attention to when symbols of wrath go off and learn to pull.
Other than this try FoW or UW, or make your own builds.

Let me sort this out. This build is my own, works for farming trolls better than anything else ive ever seen.
Attributes:
16 Tactics
9 Strength
9 Swordsmanship
5 Smiting Prayers
Skills:
Strength of Honour
Healing Signet
Dolyak Signet
Bonettis Defence
Gladiators Defence {Elite}
Shield Stance
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Runes:
Superior Tactics
2x Superior Absorption
Superior Vigor
Minor Strength
Run past the Avicara, or you can kill them slowly, to the trolls. Aggro as many as you dare, i aggro loads because its faster and you arent really in any more danger. Use Dolyak Signet whenever possible. Activate Glads Defence first and use the ripostes wherever possible. When Glads runs out, activate sheild stance. Then Bonettis etc. The idea is to maintain a stance all the time so you always have a 75% chance to block the attacks. Suppliment your armor with Dolyak sig and youre laughing. You wont take much damage. When you do, 159 health is yours in 2 seconds, however, make sure dolyak sig is on and a stance, to negate the -40 armor healing sig imposes. You should also be aware, this build is perfectly suitable for killing giants.
Where does Strength of Honour come in to it you might ask? Well, i maintain it because when using Bonettis, energy isnt really a problem, but the build is just as easy with out SoH. I only use it because my shield is rec dmg -2 while enchanted hp+45 while enchanted. Therefore, being enchanted with SoH allows me to take advantage of these bonuses.
It is possible with no SoH, no rank in smiting prayers and no shield like mine. I used to use a Victos Bulwark, or similar, and slip defencive stance in there instead of SoH, just in case you made a major RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up. If you decide to try out this build you might want to leave out the smiting prayers and make with the stances. Just to get accustomed to it. Having 15-20 lvl 24 warriors attacking you might seem a bit daunting, but its satisfying when the all drop like flies. Have fun.
